The following are examples of the work performed by Dexcrest in recent years.

Axsia Serck Baker

We provided completion and commissioning support on a number of modules on the White Tiger Project for Vietsovpetro. This included the development of plans and procedures. Commissioning activities offshore were followed by commissioning, start-up and performance testing.

We have undertaken power systems specialist support work including system audit and protection co-ordination studies in the development of HBNS Stage 2 Waterflood project for Sonatrach Anadarco Algeria Corporation.

We have also been involved in the commissioning and operation support activities associated with the new facilities in Algeria for Anadarco.

Chevron

We have supported the Chevron Management team on the conceptual, front end, detailed design and construction phases, of the Alba Northern platform facilities Phases I and II. The latter comprised major additional process and utility equipment retrofitted to the operational platform with the minimum of downtime.

Dexcrest gave short term assistance to Chevron Europe in the presentation of the application for the Norwegian 16th Licensing Round.

In Luanda we made proposals for improvement and developed engineering solutions to unreliable power supply problems. This was followed by design and installation of stabiliser and UPS systems in accordance with our recommendations.

Clyde Petroleum BV

Dexcrest performed front end engineering design (FEED), detailed design, acceptance testing, commissioning and start-up offshore of new state of the art control systems for two existing turbine driven gas compressor sets on the P6A platform in the Dutch sector of the North Sea.

The client confirms that the replaced control systems provide improved operator interface and reliability and have led to reduced down time.

Dexcrest has completed the commissioning, tie-in and start-up of the Q4A gas platform for Clyde Petroleum. Q4A is the first re-used gas platform in the North Sea. Our work included the production of procedures and on-site management for the commissioning and tie-in commissioning to Clyde P6A Platform and Q4A start up. This work also involved engineering reviews, functional definition and participation in the hazop process.

Clyde's Multi Purpose Platforms (MPP) P2SE and P2NE were relocated to become P6D and Q4B. The platforms required a number of modifications prior to being brought on line in their new locations. Dexcrest undertook the commissioning and gave assistance in the start-up of both facilities.

Elf Petroland BV

Dexcrest have been responsible for the production of mechanical completion status documentation and commissioning procedures followed by onshore and offshore commissioning of five fixed gas platform facilities in the Dutch sector of the North Sea over a period of four years. This work was generally executed on a very tight schedule and budget. The completion index and commissioning procedures were undertaken on a 'lump sum' basis.

ExxonMobil

Our engineers have held management and engineering lead positions in the commissioning of the Skene Gas Compression project on Beryl A. The project moved from the design office in Aberdeen to the construction yard in Wallsend and on to the offshore phase. The first gas was brought forward by some three months by close attention to commissioning planning, detailed procedures and on-site management.

GIE Mar Profundo Girassol

We have provided support in the commissioning of the large FPSO project for Elf in Angola which was engineered in Paris and built by Hyundai at Ulsan in Korea. This work initially involved the preparation of commissioning procedures in Paris followed by hands-on commissioning activities at the Hyundai construction yard in Korea. Our engineers participated through the mechanical, process, control, fire and gas and telecoms disciplines.

Norsk Hydro - Troll C Platform Project

We have filled a number of lead engineer positions in the commissioning team for construction site at Haugesund and offshore in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea. The work has involved the developmentof procedure planning and the direction of commisioning and start-up

Sable Offshore Energy Inc.

We have participated in commissioning execution of the Sable Island platform facilities at the UK fabrication yard and offshore in Nova Scotia, Canada. Dexcrest personnel also assisted in facility Start-up activities.

Saipem UK

We have specified the design of electrical power, lighting and control systems for a 'Work Deck' to be temporarily installed during the marine activities associated with righting and securing of a tethered buoy system forming the substructure of the Exxon Diana platform project in the Gulf of Mexico.

Sembawang

We were initially involved with the development of a mechanical completion manual and an electronic completion management system on the Al Shaheen Project comprising two complete oil production wellhead platforms. We subsequently produced commissioning procedures and plans and carried out design reviews. This was followed by mechanical completion and commissioning supervision activities at the fabrication yard and commissioning, start-up and performance testing offshore.

Single Buoy Moorings

We were initially engaged to survey and make recommendation for enhancement of the ESD and F&G design for the Jamestown FPSO at the Lisnave shipyard in Portugal. These recommendations were accepted and incorporated. We subsequently produced commissioning procedures and undertook the commissioning prior to the platform departure for Nigeria.

Ras Laffan LNG Company Qatar

Dexcrest provided consultancy services for Instrumentation and Control management for greenfield development of the Ras Laffan LNG facility encompassing instrumentation and control for process trains utilities and storage and loading.

Services were provided to monitor the designs of JGC the EPC contractor in their offices in Japan and on site to supervise and coordinate instrumentation during the construction, installation and commissioning phase.

Subsequent to successful start up of the plant, services were provided to support operations and continue with ongoing development projects.

Wintershall Noordzee

Dexcrest completed the commissioning of the Q4C platform including reviews of engineering and safety documents and assisting project management with the production of the statement of requirements and functional specifications. We also produced commissioning and start-up documentation, executed commissioning onshore and offshore and gave assistance with the facility start-up.

Note that the commissioning and start-up procedures were executed in house against a fixed price proposal and the plant commissioning against a budget price which was not exceeded.
